Okaloosa County Aviation Advisory Committee                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Authority:  Established by the Board of County Commissioners on 7/28/1992 to assist the Okaloosa Planning Commission.

Purpose:  To assist the Okaloosa County Planning Commission in reviewing proposed tall structures and other structures and/or facilities that may impact military and/or civilian aviation activities within the county.           

Members:  Shall consist of eleven (11) members.  All shall have a general knowledge of aviation requirements and reside in Okaloosa County.

 Membership shall consist of one (1) member appointed by the following with the exception of Destin Executive Airport which will have two (2) appointed members: 

Okaloosa County Airport

Eglin Air Force Base

Hurlburt Field

Bob Sikes FBO

Destin Executive Airport FBO
