The Public Information Office (PIO) is responsible for keeping the public informed by distributing timely and accurate information about Okaloosa County Government, Departments, Services and Projects. Public information platforms include social media, website content, news releases, publications about County services and through media relations. The PIO works closely with County employees, department leaders, administrators, the board of county commissioners and the news media to present accurate updates and timely local topics to the citizens of Okaloosa County.
