To satisfy the Citizens' needs for timely and accurate information, Okaloosa County will leverage social media as a means to provide information to residents and businesses. Social media is another tool that can be leveraged to broadcast to a large audience in a fast-changing environment. It's an effective way to reach the public directly, with factual messaging on topics such as Okaloosa County governance, events managed or sponsored by the County or information from federal, state or other local government agencies.
