The Okaloosa County Application for Employment form must be completed online during the recruitment filling period.  Resumes are not accepted unless included as a supplement to the application form. Applications will be accepted only for positions that are posted.

Application Information

Individuals interested in employment with the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners are encouraged to apply directly online at Employment Opportunities. This can be done with any computer or mobile device that has internet access.  

The deadline to apply is noted on all position postings.  Applications must be submitted by the ‘deadline to apply’ listed on the job vacancy.

If you do not have access to a computer, you may come to the Human Resources Office to submit an online application.  We have two computer kiosks in our 2nd floor lobby and a Human Resources Representative is available to assist as needed.  You may also submit an online application at either of the CareerSource Center locations (Ft. Walton Beach or DeFuniak Springs) or at one of our local public libraries as they also have computers for public use.
