Emergency Operations Information
Be Safe:
Avoid driving on flooded roadways. One foot of water can carry a car away. Turn around, don’t drown. When driving through standing water is unavoidable, slow down. The wake from vehicles driving through flooded areas causes more property damage than the rising water itself.
Do not wade through floodwaters, which could have live power lines, sewage, wildlife and dangerous objects.
