Location: 710 Essex Road, Fort Walton Beach

This park provides an ADA-compliant children’s playground, basketball court, a paved walking trail, pavilions, picnic areas and a very large open green space. Stillwell Park was built after a wastewater treatment plant was demolished in 2011.

  Don and Susan Stillwell, for whom the park is named, helped lead the effort in the transition of this land from a wastewater treatment facility to a neighborhood park.
