Cinco Bayou Boat Ramp underwent substantial improvements to the parking area in 2026 following the purchase of land near the boat ramp for an enhanced recreational experience. A much-needed public bathroom was also added.

The boat ramp is located in the Town of Cinco Bayou, incorporated in 1950. During the 1950s, the Town became a residential community supporting the increased activities at Eglin Air Force Base and the expanding commercial and tourist enterprises of the Fort Walton Beach area.
