Baker Area Recreation Association

The Baker Area Recreation Association hosts the Baker Area Rodeo each spring, this park has 2 arenas, 196 stalls, concession stands, and 29 RV hookups with water and electricity for the rodeo crowd. In addition, there is a community center, walking path, archery range, playground equipment and picnic tables.

Rental Rates:

• $50 non-refundable hold-the-date fee - due within 48 business hours of reserving the date
• $100 security deposit due two weeks prior to event – refundable after event
• HALF Day: $150 half-day reservation fee (8 am - 2pm OR 3pm - 9pm) - due two weeks before the event. $50 paid to hold the date is applied
• FULL DAY: $250 full-day reservation fee (8am - 9pm) - due two weeks before the event. $50 paid to hold the date is applied

Other items needed:

Rental Agreement and Hold Harmless to be completed, signed, and notarized for all rentals.

You will be required to furnish the County proof of Liability Insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence, naming Okaloosa County BOCC as an additional insured if:

• you are holding a commercial event
• there is any onsite cooking – including grilling outside
• kitchen equipment other than refrigeration will be used

All other non-commercial events should contact the Facilities & Parks Department for insurance requirements.
